Aiace is a member of the new generation of singer/songwriters from Bahia, Brazil. Graduated In Popular Singing at Federal University of Bahia, she is one of the founders and vocal lead of Sertanília Group, her first album solo, titled “Dentro Ali”, was released last november and brings as special guests Luiz Melodia and Lazzo Matumbi. In her solo album she presents an urban and contemporary language, using brazilian popular music, jazz and pop/rock elements, but not forgetting afro bahian ancestral roots. With Sertanília, she released in 2017 their second album: Gratia, sponsored by Natura Musical. With “Ancestral”, their first album, the group received an indication as best regional group in the Brazilian Music Prize (Prêmio da Música Brasileira) and Dynamite Prize as the best regional album. Toghether for 7 years, Sertanília highlights with performances in Brazil and Europe, passing by Lisbon and Coimbra, Tensamba Festival in Madrid, Brazilian Summer Sessions Festival in Amsterdan, and WOMEX14 in Santiago de Compostela.
