"Carsten Dahl is one of the most impressive European Jazzpianists. After studying the drums, he found his true calling rather late and mastered the piano in a short time under the supervision of Jørgen Nielsen. Dahl is a painter and a musician at the samen time and shown his instincts towards his art. He has taken part in countless collaborations. In 25 of his outstanding career, he managed to take part in over 250 recordings and has produced 30 of his own.
