Born in Cleveland, Ohio but raised in neighboring Akron, Ghetto the Plug began rapping in 2004, and landed his first release in 2007 when Young Jeezy associate Blood Raw collaborated with the MC on the cut "It's Nothing." A year later, Plug dropped the Business Nuthin Personel mixtape with DJ Farenheit as host, while the 2009 mixtape Left 4 Dead featured interludes and features with Gorilla Zoe. Two mixtapes, Clientel and Sex Sales, dropped in 2010, then Dopish Chapter 2 landed in 2011. Three years later he hit with the track "Back 2 Work" featuring Johnny Cinco, then in 2015 Plug issued the Empire mixtape along with the official album Lord Forgive My Sins.
