J. Howell is an American R&B artist who was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1994. He developed a love of music and the performing arts whilst still at school and as his ambitions to become a singer became stronger so did the support from his family who had unshakeable faith in Howell's talent. Although Howell is unwilling to commit his style to a certain genre his soulful compositions laced with a hint of pop mean his music is accessible to wide audience.In 2019 he released his own independently released EP titled 'Red Room' featuring the lead single 'Talk'.
