Staffed by Sam Farzin (vocals, guitar), Jac Aranda (guitar),
Thom Lucero (bass), and Bryson Mounts (drums),
Media Jeweler recorded their 2015 debut,
$99 R/T Hawaii, in a three-day session at Rhode Island's Machines with Magnets studio with
Seth Manchester and
Keith Souza (
Battles,
Lightning Bolt). Released by Fire Talk Records, it consisted almost entirely of instrumental songs augmented by the occasional use of vocals and trombone. Employing the same team and studio,
Media Jeweler expanded on their signature sound with their 2018 follow-up,
1-800-SUCCEED. Taking a different, more elaborate approach, 2021's
The Sublime Sculpture of Being Alive was the band's first release to heavily feature vocals and included a bevy of guest players along with new member Graham Ulicny (
