ergio Zurutuza Born 26/03/1976 in San Sebastian (Donostia). With 12 years it started as Trombonist in what was the fanfarre “Tirri Tarra”, having traveled and won different competitions throughout Europe. At the he began to play guitar and formed a group Punk/Heavy called “Ton Ton Makutt”, which already created. In 1998, at 22 years old, and reconverted in composer “serious” transformed (together wich other 22 companions) to the above mentioned fanfarre in Shymphonic Rock Group. From 1998 until the 2011 he was composer, producer, guitarist, mandolinist and sound engineer of the NEW TIRRITARRA, having released 2 albums and 1 EP (Re+Fa 1999 – Luz Negra/Argi Beltz 2006 and Perdidos en un sueño 2011). During those years made/did many concerts, coming to play for up to 7000 people with a total of between 60 and 100 musicians playing their music on the stage.
His studies focused on the Jazz under the tutelage of Alberto Lizarralde.
From 2011 until today date follows as solitary composer and multi-instrumentalist, having created 5 álbums an 1 EP (Internas… (2004), Souvenir (2009), Las Huellas de un Nuevo Comienzo (2014), Frenetic (2015), Jaio/Nacer (2017) and Rareza/Rarity (2019)), as well as different soundtracks for short films and Ads. In 2016 Appeared between the lines of the book “SOTTO VOCE – Articulos, Reseñas y otras Chanzas” of writer and renowned musical critic Antonio Pardo Larrosa, and their in the future write Zurutuza's biography.
The Next Albums “Guitar on the Skin” and SINCERAL is expected for 2020 and 2021 respectively.
