Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku are a J-pop collective formed in Tokyo in 2009 with a lineup that features singers Rika Mayama, Ayaka Yasumoto, Mirei Hoshina, Hinata Kashiwagi, Kaho Kobayashi and Riko Nakayama. Many other performers have joined and left since their recording debut in 2010 with the single 'Asa No Chime Ga Narimashita!'. They have appeared on many Japanese variety shows and made several music videos. Their debut album 'Ebichû No Zeppan Best: Owaranai Seishun' reached number 19 on Japan's Oricon Albums Chart. The hits began in 2012 with 'Karikeiyaku No Cinderella' which went to number seven on Japan's Oricon Singles Chart and number 15 on Billboard's Japan Hot 100. Other top ten singles include 'Go! Go! Here We Go!' (2012), 'Ume' (2013), 'Butterfly Effect' (2014) and 'Super Hero' (2015). Of their albums, 'Kinpachi' (2015) and 'Anarchy' (2016) peaked at number two on the Oricon Albums Chart and 'Ebi Crazy' (2017) topped the chart. The single 'Sing Along Sing a Song' (2017) went to number two on the Oricon Singles Chart and 'Frustrating' (2018) peaked at number three. The 2019 album 'MUSIC (MUSiC Music)' reached number two on the Oricon Albums Chart from which they released the track 'Trendy Girl'.
